洪惠专博士现任西交利物浦大学国际商学院经济系的资深副教授。她的研究领域主要是与政策有相关的国际金融和宏观经济议题,包括对货币危机,金融危机,货币政策,汇率政策,和中国经济发展模式等议题的探讨。

来西交利物浦大学任教之前,洪教授曾在两个高阶层的美国国家单位担任高级经济学人和分析师长达二十多年。从1988到1996年间,她在美国联邦准备银行纽约分行担任经济研究员,对美国联邦准备银行提供研究报告和经济分析,以供领导制定美国货币政策的参考。之后十几年之间,洪博士担任美国国会预算局的国际经济首席分析师,对美国国会提供研究报告和分析,可称为美国国会智囊团内的重要成员。她的许多研究成果也出版于主要学术期刊,书籍章节,以及政策简报

洪教授拥有的学位包括美国纽约大学 (New YorkUniversity)的经济学博士,Oregon 大学 (University of Oregon) 的管理学硕士 (MBA),国立台湾大学的经济学学士

Dr. Juann H. Hung has been a senior Associate Professor in the Economics Division at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University's International Business School since July 2014. Dr. Juann H. Hung worked in the United States for over 20 years before she joined the faculty team of XJTLU. She was an international economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for about 8 years, and the lead international economist at the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) of U.S. Congress for about 16 years. In those two posts, Dr. Hung provided policy recommendations through her research and analysis on a wide range of policy issues, including issues on foreign exchange intervention, effects of exchange rate movements, causes and consequences of currency crises, macroeconomic effects of globalization, and China's growth model and its implications. Her research output has also been published as book chapters, policy and issue briefs, and in leading academic journals.

Dr. Hung received her doctorate in economics from New York University, her MBA in finance from University of Oregon, and her BA in economics from National Taiwan University.
